Welcome to Mach Repair Cafe new ProBoards forum! There are numerous resources available to help you get started.ProBoards Help Guide
This forum has started as a coronavirus response since the local Repair Cafe is unable to operate. Appliances break, and we tend to buy new when they do. Indeed, many things are designed NOT to be fixed. There will be many unfortunate people in precarious financial situations right now, and with time on their hands. There could be good reason why people should try mending things themselves, BUT we need to flag-up here ... BE CAREFUL ! No risks should be taken. This is no time to need A&E attention!!!
If you want a few practical tips.. There might be someone who can share their experience of taking something to bits, or someone to help with diagnosis. e.g. you have got your sewing machine out of the cupboard, and no matter how hard you try.... its still breaking thread! Lets see how this forum goes.
Be warned of a potential glitch. support.proboards.com often gives a blank page. If you type '/forum' at the end.. it will work. I suggest you make the home page a favorite, so you can easily get back to home
HOW TO USE THIS FORUM
